These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the SerOx Clean Air website and services. SerOx Clean Air is a service brand operated by SerOx Contracting Corp (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By using our website or scheduling services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services Provided

SerOx Clean Air provides:

  • Residential air duct cleaning

  • Commercial air duct cleaning

  • Dryer vent cleaning

  • Mold disinfection

  • Related indoor air quality services

Services are provided in Charlotte, NC and surrounding areas.

All services are subject to availability and site inspection.

2. Estimates & Pricing

  • Pricing provided on the website or over the phone is an estimate.

  • Final pricing may vary depending on system size, accessibility, condition, and additional service needs.

  • Customers will be informed of any price adjustments before work begins.

We practice upfront pricing with no hidden fees.

3. Appointments & Cancellations

  • Appointments must be scheduled in advance.

  • Customers may reschedule or cancel with at least 24 hours’ notice.

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a $25 cancellation fee.

  • Failure to provide access to the property at the scheduled appointment time may also result in a $25 fee.

We understand that emergencies happen and will evaluate special circumstances at our discretion.

4. Travel Fees

  • No travel fee is charged for service locations within 25 miles of Charlotte, NC.

  • Service locations beyond 25 miles may be subject to a $25 travel fee.

  • Locations beyond 40 miles may require a custom travel quote prior to scheduling.

  • Customers will be informed of any travel fees before appointment confirmation.

5. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

  • Provide safe and reasonable access to work areas

  • Secure pets

  • Remove fragile or valuable items near work zones

  • Provide accurate contact information

SerOx Clean Air is not responsible for pre-existing damage or unsafe conditions.

6. Post-Service Concerns

Customers must notify SerOx Clean Air of any concerns related to the services performed within 48 hours of service completion. Prompt reporting allows us to investigate and determine whether any issue is related to the services provided.

Claims reported after the 48-hour period, or following extended system operation, use, or periods of non-use, may be difficult or impossible to verify and may not be eligible for review or consideration.

As a courtesy, SerOx Clean Air may choose to inspect reported concerns; however, any inspection performed after the 48-hour reporting period does not constitute an admission of responsibility or liability.

7. Limitation of Liability

SerOx Clean Air provides air duct cleaning services only. Our services do not include the inspection, diagnosis, repair, servicing, or replacement of HVAC equipment or mechanical components, including but not limited to furnaces, air handlers, blower motors, evaporator coils, condensers, thermostats, electrical components, dampers, or other HVAC system components.

SerOx Clean Air is not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing HVAC system defects or equipment failures.

  • Mechanical, electrical, or operational issues unrelated to the cleaning service.

  • Equipment malfunctions or failures that occur before, during, or after the cleaning service unless directly caused by our negligence.

  • Normal wear and tear or failures resulting from the age or condition of the HVAC system.

  • Delays or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

If an HVAC-related issue is reported, customers are responsible for obtaining an inspection from a licensed HVAC contractor. The occurrence or discovery of an HVAC equipment malfunction following duct cleaning does not, by itself, indicate that the cleaning service caused the malfunction.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SerOx Clean Air's total liability for any claim arising from the services provided shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for those services.

8. Website Use

You agree not to:

  • Use this website for unlawful purposes

  • Attempt to damage or disrupt website functionality

  • Misrepresent yourself when submitting forms

9. Changes to Services or Terms

We reserve the right to modify services, pricing, or these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page.
